MY FAMILY

Well, my name is Luz Adriana, I was born in Barranquilla and I have been living here all my life. I considered myself like a funny, happy, responsible and hard-worked person. I try to be friendly with the people around me and do not say inappropriate things, because I the kind of person who said what he things, and sometimes this cause my some troubles.

Also I help my mom with the housework like: sweep, wash the dishes, mop and something like that. But in the only thing I don´t help her is cook, I hate cook!. I guess is because I grew with woman like mi mom, my aunt, and my grandmother who doesn´t like cook, not are all!.

Actually, I´m studing in the last grade of High school in the Eucarístico De La Merced school. I live with my parents and my youngest brother.

My mother borned in Barranquilla but when she was 5 years old, she went to Codazzi and lived there for 22 years. She studied in La Divina pastora school, then she started to work in the treasury town. She said me that her childhood was very fun, because she lived with her brothers and cousins. When they came home before school, they did their homework and then they played all day. Now days she´s a housewife; our relationship is more like friend than mother-daughter, I love her so much.

My father studied in the Universidad Tecnologica del Magdalena to became a agronomist, it wasn´t what he wanted but it was the only thing his parents could afford. He borned in El Banco (Magdalena), studied in El Caro (Ocaña) and when he finished his college he found a job in Monsantos company and travel to Codazzi. Then he met my mom, two years later they good married and bought an aparment in Barranquilla.

I have two wonderful brothers. One of them is Jorge who is 30 years and Carlos is 27 years. Jorge borned in Codazzi when my parents were in vacations, he studied in El Carmen and mechanic engineer in the Universidad del Atlántico. He has been working in Colseguros for 4 years. Last year in January 18th he got married in Castillo San felipe with his first and only girlfriend. It was a beautiful ceremony.

My youngest brother, Carlos borned in Barranquilla, studied in San Francisco School and electronics an telecommunications engineer in the Universidad Autonoma.

And that´s it, this is my family.

FIRST MEETINGS

I´m going to talk about how my parents met. My mother was invited to swim in the Fernanbuco river; when my mom told my grandmother, she said: "You can´t go anywhere, today you need to help me with the work of the house", my mother was so furious that she took the dirty clothes basket and went to the courtyard for washed. While my grandmother was going to the store, my mother fled and arrived to the river.

Some friends told my mother that my grandmother was coming, so she took all her things, gave them to some guy and hid. When my grandmother came, my mother´s friends said her that she never was there so my grandmother left the river. My mother was very nervous, she asked her things to my father and he introduced himself. They started to date and to years later they got married.

MY PROFILE

Hi! I´m Luz Adriana, I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. I have been studying in Eucaristico school, now days I´m in 11 grade ready for graduation and start a professional career. I want to be a Chemical engineer, because I love chemical, is me favorite class.

In the school i can make a very good friends , who support me , love me and care about me and I thank God that He put me this girls in my way. And I hope that after the graduation we can do meetings to see them again.

I live with my mom Rita luz, my dad Armando and my Brother Carlos, until last year me big brother live with us, because he got married and let the house.

My name comes from a decision between my brothers. When my mom was in the hospital, Jorge (my big brother) said: "It is a girl, we call her Luz Adriana" and Carlos (my other brother) said: " It is a boy we call him Daniel". When you ask to my brother ¿why do you put that name?, he will say that he doesn´t know, he suddenly think in it. But the curious thing, is that all the woman of the family have the "luz" in her names.

All my family and close friends call me "Luchy" because when I was I child my mom sing my all the song she know, including the National Hymn and still I could sleep, so my mom said that I was a "lucha", That´s why people call me like this.

I have a great family, in the side of my mom I have six uncles and one aunt and the side of my dad I have one uncle and one aunt; and a lot of cousin. In holidays we all met and celebrated together the birth of Jesus and the new year. We sing, dance, laugh, and eat in very big table; is so cool!. I love spend my time with my family, because is a pleasure be with the people you care and love and also my cousin and aunt are very funny and make me heave a god time.

I love shopping, is exciting and fun, be with me friends, go to the movie, listening to music and all the things that a girl do.I also LOVE Play in the Playstation, is one of me favorite activities; it´s like live in a different world, in a different epoch with mithological animals and powers. But I love play only RPG games, not missions games, because I very bad with that games.
